Voice & Data Cabling

Take your business communications to the next level with Frontier.

Voice and data cabling is your only link between your end device such as your PC, telephone, printer or fax to the world of technology allowing it to be used in your business. Cabling needs to be done precisely from the beginning or issues will arise.

“If a business has connectivity issues, it’s not normally the network, it’s the cable and the infrastructure,” says Willem Gispen, VP at Frontier Technologies.  “If the cabling is not done correctly, you will experience interference. The interference could stem from a light, or a kinked cable, or the radius is bent too tightly, and it will compromise the cable/fiber.”

Types of Cables

We have dept of knowledge on all types of copper and fiber solutions.

Cat 5E

Cat 5E, is the most preferred cable when it comes to network cabling for companies. It provides higher sustainable transfer speed for Ethernet connections and has standard performance up to 100 MHz.

Cat 6

Cat 6 is an Ethernet copper wire with a bandwidth capacity of 250 MHz. It is the latest iteration that helps to reduce crosstalk, which is why Cat 6 is also termed as the most ‘ future-proofed’ cable.

Coax (RG 6)

RG 6 is mainly used for cabling satellite signal transmission for residential or commercial installations. It is known to provide better signal quality and has thicker dielectric insulation which results in less damages to the electric currents.

Fiber Optic

Fiber Optic cables contain strands of glass fibers which provides them better bandwidth and transfer data over longer distances faster as compared to copper cables. They are used for long distance, high performance data networking, and telecommunications.
